The 1999 and 2000 model Tigers shared the engine from the T509 Speed Triple and as the first of the Gen 2 Tigers it had a lot of revisions over the older Streamer models. The new bodywork (which carried on with the 955i Tiger until 2006) gave a new world look and the 104hp was a considerable power hike from the mark 1 Tigers. Also added to these bikes was the optional luggage system and performance packs.

This particular example is finished in Yellow and has been installed with a gloss black pannier system. The bike is in good overall condition for the year and mileage however there are a few marks for use and the panniers has a few marks from storage. The bike rides well and feels nimble and surefooted on the road. These bikes are tall and make for excellent long haul touring machines, the engines provide smooth useable torque throughout the rev range, the triple engine sounds fantastic when used enthusiastically.
